The farm Ris was in 1394 conveyed by Peder Høeg to hr. Jens Nielsen Løvenbalk, who in 1412 sold it to Alling kloster.

Løvenbalk, Jens Nielsen, -o. 1438, Rigsraad,
was the son of Niels Eriksen L. to Avnsbjærg whose father is reported to have been
an illegitimate son of King Christopher II,. Although he owned and inhabited
also Avnsbjærg. Since 1424 he declares that he is 80 years old
and in 40 years has been in Rigens Raad, should he be born in 1344,
but this indication is perhaps hardly fully reliable; found
him in any case not mentioned before 1390, but then he may indeed
