Paintings by Phillip Jenssen

Daniel Bolstad (Jenssen) Conrad was a prolific artist. Only a selection of his pieces are shown here. We don’t know the titles he actually gave most of his paintings, so the titles here are mostly descriptive.  In the 1930′s and 40′s Dan painted American scenes for the Louis F. Dow Co. and several of his paintings appeared on calendars, jigsaw puzzles and scrapbooks. He is also thought to have done some work for the Brown & Bigelow Calendar company in Saint Paul.
